Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established
The signing ceremony of the Statute of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TTSP) was held today in the capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan. The event was attended by Mr. Mammad Musayev, President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, at the invitation of the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, Ambassador Bagdat Amreev.
Along with the ASK delegation, the event was attanded by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, the Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov, the Chairman of the Atameken National Entrepreneurs Confederation Ablay Myrzahmedov, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Rifat Hisarciklioglu, and the authorized ambassador Rashad Mammadov and other official guests.
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan (QRSMP), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of the Republic of Turkey (TARPB) and the Chamber of Commerce (TSP Turkmenistan) and the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry are represented at the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The purpose of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to develop cooperation in the business sector of the Turkic-speaking countries and to achieve economic integration, economic and social development.
Thus, summit meetings were held in Almaty, Bishkek, Gabala, Bodrum, Astana and Cholpon-Ata on the basis of the declaration of member states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States. The next meeting was scheduled for October this year in Baku.
One of the main objectives of the Turkish-speaking countries is to complement each other’s economies, to strengthen economic relations among business communities of member states and to develop economic relations between Turkic-speaking states.
The organization’s responsibilities include promoting the exchange of goods and services in member countries, including facilitating trade in the region, eliminating transport problems, facilitating the development of investment environments to boost foreign investment, and facilitating trade disputes between Turkic speaking states` companies.
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Turkish-speaking countries is also responsible for implementing the instructions given by the Economic Council of the heads of state during the Turkish Council Summit.
The agreement on the establishment of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of the Turkic-speaking States was reached during the official meeting of the Business Council of the Turkic-speaking states in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on December 14, 2018.
