Support For Azerbaijan From Turkish Businessmen

The Board of the Turkish-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TAC) has held its first full meeting. The meeting was held in online video format with the participation of co-chairs Vugar Abbasov and Özturk Oran.

The meeting discussed the Turkish business community’s protest against Armenia’s attacks on Azerbaijan and the preliminary action plan for the forum.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, TAC co-chair Özturk Oran said that Armenia was targeting the civilian population and Azerbaijan was defending itself and clearing its lands of occupiers.

“Turkey-Azerbaijan is a brother and we are together with Azerbaijan until the end,” Özturk Oran said.

V.Abbasov said that the decisive steps of President Ilham Aliyev directed all our people to the goal that Karabakh should be cleansed of occupiers. “Today, all businessmen support this cause. I wish that our future business addresses are our liberated lands.

Then the participants spoke about the work to be done to support the right cause of Azerbaijan and to inform the world about the war crimes committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by about 40 MEMBERS OF THE CHAMBER – Entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs generally supported the idea that in order for the Azerbaijani army to be strong on the front, businessmen must try to keep our economy strong.

It should be noted that TAC was established on October 15, 2019 under a cooperation agreement signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation.
