The Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Held A Meeting With The Leadership Of The International Business Forum

A meeting was held at the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation on July 7 with a delegation led by Erol Yarar, head of the International Business Forum (IBF) and founding president of MUSIAD.

President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mammad Musayev expressed satisfaction on the meeting with the delegation from the brotherly country, emphasizing the high level of cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in all sectors of the economy, noting that friendship and brotherhood between the two countries had a very positive impact on economic cooperation. During the meeting, he briefed the guests on business opportunities in the country, the policies implemented to achieve sustainable economic development, the favorable conditions created for attracting foreign investment to the country, as well as the structure and membership of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation.

Erol Yarar noted that the IBF held two major business forums during the year in which one in Istanbul and the other outside Turkey, stressing that the 25th IBF Forum will be held in Baku this year. E.Yarar informed that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and the IBF on holding the 25th IBF Forum in Baku. The forum is organized to bring together businessmen and government officials from around the world to develop bilateral economic and trade relations, investment cooperation and strengthen business ties. The forum is expected to be attended by more than 1,500 businessmen from abroad and Azerbaijan.

Erol Yarar also mentioned that 5 strategic sectors are envisaged for the future activities of Turkish businessmen in Azerbaijan, four of which are tourism, agriculture, food industry and healthcare.

The meeting continued with a discussion of issues of mutual interest and discussed prospects for cooperation between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the International Business Forum.
