Azerbaijani Entrepreneurs Took Part In The Tashkent International Investment Forum

The first Tashkent International Investment Forum was held in Uzbekistan on March 24-26.

The forum was attended by a delegation led by Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederations Vice- president Vugar Zeynalov.

On the second day of the forum, Zeynalov spoke about Azerbaijan’s experience in social dialogue.

In his speech, he reported on the signing and implementation of the tripartite General Collective Agreement, the successes achieved in the public-private dialogue.

V.Zeynalov noted that cooperation with brother Uzbek entrepreneurs has been developing successfully for many years.

“In recent years, the Uzbek economy has changed significantly, and there are great opportunities for fruitful cooperation in all areas. Many Azerbaijani companies cooperate with Uzbekistan side. They have offices and production facilities here. Our 10-member delegation represents various Azerbaijani companies. They are interested in business development, implementation of important projects and exchange of experience in a number of areas, from agriculture to the construction sector. “I would like to note that over the past three years, despite the pandemic, trade and economic relations between our countries have expanded, trade turnover in the food industry, electronics and agriculture has increased by 30 percent,” Zeynalov said.
