The project “Support to Vocational Education in the South Caucasus” was a guest of “KARVAN L”

The National Confederation of  Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organization of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) continues its activities within the project “Support to Vocational Education in the South Caucasus”.

On March 6, KARVAN L Group of Companies hosted an Open Day for students and teachers of the Baku State Vocational Training Center for Engineering and Technology.

The purpose of the event is to expand educational and business cooperation, provide internships for students, as well as create future employment opportunities.

Regarding this, 14 students and two teachers of the school, Ute Fock (Head of the Vocational Education Support Project in the South Caucasus), Shabnam Nuriyeva (Adviser to the President of ASK), and Sadagat Gambarova (Coordinator) have taken part at this event.

Representatives of “KARVAN L” company made a presentation about their activities, products and corporate social policies. Then the participants got  familiar with the company’s production facilities and working conditions.

During the event, the requirements for knowledge and skills of employees of the company, working conditions, salaries, etc. topics were discussed.
