An extraordinary meeting of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry was held
On July 3, an extraordinary meeting was held in Tashkent jointly organized by the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting is dedicated to the topic “New Uzbekistan: new prospects for business and investment”.
The delegation led by Mr. Mammad Musayev, president of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the meeting.
The event was attended by the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Mr. Omer Kocaman, President of the Turkic Investment Fund Mr. Bagdad Amreyev, Chairman of the Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports Mr. Adham Ikramov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Davron Vahabov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Temir Sariev, Head of the Department of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan Mr. Kamal Valiyev and Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkish Cyprus Mr. Turgay Deniz.
In his speech, M.Musayev congratulated Mr. Rifat Hisarciklioglu on his re-election as TOBB president. He spoke about the importance of Uzbekistan for both Azerbaijan and the Turkic world, the current state of economic cooperation between our countries, and the available opportunities.
At the same time, the head of the Confederation emphasized with great satisfaction the high relations between the ASK and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. He talked about the activities of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Business Council established between the two organizations, and noted the steps taken to support entrepreneurs and increase investment between our countries.
M.Musayev gave detailed information to the event participants about the structural reforms carried out in the economic field in our country, the investment environment, the current economic potential in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation visited the “TOBB ETÜ Tashkent” University, which is the Tashkent branch of the University of Economics and Technology of Türkiye under the Union of Chambers and Exchanges of Türkiye, and got acquainted with the University’s activities and existing scientific and innovative potential.
