The new Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation was presented to the staff

There was a new appointment in the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK).

Ms. Natavan Mammadova was entrusted with the position of Secretary General of the Confederation, which aims to further strengthen its activities aimed at improving the business environment in our country, developing entrepreneurship and public-private dialogue, and achieving these goals. Mr. Mammad Musayev, president of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, introduced the newly appointed Secretary General to the staff.

Mr. Mammad Musayev said that under the leadership of the President of Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Ilham Aliyev, supporting entrepreneurship has become one of the most important directions of the socio-economic development strategy of our state. The reforms implemented in our country and the continuous steps taken in the field of improvement of the business and investment environment led to the increase of the share of the private sector in the GDP to 85%.

He congratulated Ms. Natavan Mammadova on her new appointment, emphasized the tasks facing the ASK in implementing new challenges for the development of the country’s economy, public-private dialogue, and the private sector, and wished success to the team in the work to be done in order to achieve the set goals.

It should be noted that Ms. Natavan Mammadova worked in leading positions in institutions such as the American Chamber of Commerce, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the World Bank, the US Treasury Department, and McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Natavan Mammadov expressed her gratitude for the high trust and said that she will mobilize efforts for the implementation of the tasks.
