Statement of the participants of the conference “Public-entrepreneur partnership: the basis of a sustainable economy”
As a result of continuation with great wisdom and foresight of the socio-economic development strategy created by the founder of modern Azerbaijan great leader Heydar Aliyev, by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the economic power of our country is increasing day by day and its reputation as a reliable partner is strengthening.
Having taken its rightful place in the world community, achieving stable and sustainable economic development, Azerbaijan is advancing with great confidence towards the goal of becoming one of the most developed countries in the world, writing history with the achieved successes. Under the leadership of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in the course of the 44-day Patriotic War and local anti-terrorism operation, separatism in the territory of the republic was put to an end once and for all, our lands were liberated from occupation, and the constitutional structure of our country was completely restored.
Against the background of global challenges, macroeconomic stability is preserved in our country, the economy is diversified, a more conducive business and investment climate is being formed for the development of the private sector. During a large-scale work carried out, entrepreneurs have become the leading force in the country’s economy. It is no coincidence that the reforms carried out in our country are highly appreciated by international financial organizations.
In the process of the development of public-entrepreneur relations, the improvement of legislation and administrative procedures on business activity, the increase of the efficiency of state support mechanisms for the development of entrepreneurship in the regions, the applied concessions and incentives, and the continued purposeful measures in the direction of the development of business relations the share of the private sector in the country’s economy is 86.5 percent, and 78 percent in employment.
We are proud of such a high result. Business promotion measures are emphasized by entrepreneurs with special gratitude. Business representatives always feel the support in expanding the scope of public-entrepreneurial cooperation.
Free market relations and a healthy competitive environment in Azerbaijan have created favorable opportunities for the private sector. Thanks to these opportunities, entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan is improving both qualitatively and quantitatively.
As entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan, encouraged by state support, we are proud to mobilize all our forces and make our contribution to the restoration of Karabakh and the Great Return in a short time.
Entrepreneurs of the country support the socio-economic policy pursued under the leadership of His Excellency Ilham Aliyev, declare that they will continue to contribute to the challenges for the progress of Azerbaijan and will carry out their duties in the field of ensuring the development of the economy irrevocably.
