The meeting of the “Work Commission on Tourism and Service” was held

A meeting of the “Tourism and service work commission” of the Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs was held. The work of the commission in 2023 was discussed at the meeting, and representatives of the tourism sector met with the Baku Vocational Training Center of the State Employment Agency.

The leaders of the Baku Vocational Training Center, Azerbaijan Tourism Agencies Association, Skal International Baku Tourism Professionals Association, Azerbaijan Health and Thermal Tourism Support Association took part in the meeting.

Baku Vocational Training Center made a presentation on the vocational training courses implemented, the work done to meet the personnel needs of entrepreneurs, and the opportunities for cooperation in 175 priority areas.

Representatives of the tourism sector said that this sector of the economy has a large labor capacity and the need for qualified personnel is constantly increasing. Emphasizing that they are interested in cooperation, the tourism professionals informed about the requirements of the labor market and the expectations of employers in this field.
