The visits of Japanese investors to Azerbaijan
Investors representing the Japanese office of the TET International Development are visiting Azerbaijan. The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) organizes visits and meetings on issues of interest to investors.
On the first day of the meeting, the guests met with the President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation Mammad Musayev. During the meeting, the head of the Confederation provided information on Azerbaijan’s investment, business opportunities, the work done to achieve sustainable economic development, in particular, the economic potential of Karabakh.
Taro Sawada, President and Representative of the TET International Development in Japan, spoke about the successful operation of four plants built by TET in the regions of Azerbaijan and noted the prospects for cooperation in other areas. In particular, detailed answers were given to the questions of the guests about the opportunities of health tourism in Karabakh.
According to Taro Sawada, the number of products exported from Azerbaijan to Japan is growing. Recently, work is underway to launch flower products produced by «Azrose LLC» on the Japanese market. At the same time, he said that the hazelnut shell processing plant built by TET in Zagatala will start operating in a few days. The plant will process hazelnut shells to produce natural coal, which will be exported to Japan in November of this year.
Then it was decided to further strengthen cooperation with the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation to continue the successful activities of Japanese investors in Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Japanese investors met with the heads of the Executive Powers of Sheki and Zagatala regions and explored investment opportunities.
