Charity Innovation Conference – 2016 23-24 October 2016, Kingdom of Bahrain

The General Secretariat of Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (ICCIA) presents its compliments to its Member Institutions and has the honor to state the following:
With the current fast development cycle and continuous change, technological advancement plays an essential role in maintaining NGOs competitive advantage and sustainability. After the grand success of last year conference – Charity Technology Innovation-2015, with more than 370 delegates from 23 different counties under the kind Patronage of H.H. Shaikh Khaled bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Isa Cultural Centre, “Charity Innovation Conference-2016” will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain on 23-24 October 2016. The main theme of the Conference would be “Digital Transformation as a key to charity Innovation”.
Key topics which would be covered during the Conference include the following:

− Online Cyber Charity Innovation;
− New Charity Technology Trends;
− Mobile Charity Applications;
− Mechanism and Approaches for the Third Sector to Benefit from Technology Providers;

− International NGOs & Leading Practices;
− Technology-enabled Public Value Creation by Charity Organizations;
− Charity- and Technology- enabled Social Inclusion and Social Transformation;
− Mobilizing Social Capital of Charity Organizations through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs);
− ICT-enabled Mechanisms for Building Human-Capacity of Charity Organizations;
− Social innovation using digital technology initiated by charities or NGOs;
− Social Media leading stories and techniques;

In view of the significance of the above event, Member Institutions are requested to kindly circulate the said information among their members, specifically among those related to the theme of the conference and request them to send Synopsis of presentations (in English or Arabic), mentioning the following:
- Title of the proposed presentation
- Abstract of the proposed presentation (no more than 300 words)
- Name(s) of presenter(s), position and/or title
- Employer/affiliated institution, if possible including an online reference to the institutions
- Country hosting the institution
- Main presenter’s contact information, including email address and telephone number
- Presenter’s short profile.
Synopsis for presentations should be sent by email to info@inoventing.comcc: abuhazza@gmail.com The assessment of synopsis starts on 7th of May 2016. Accepted presenters will be notified once assessment is completed by end of May 30th 2016.
