Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation and the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses
On March 2, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ASK) and the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) was signed in Berlin.
Mr. Elnur Huseynov, authorized representative of ASK for the Federal Republic of Germany, and Markus Jerger, chairman of BVMW, signed the memorandum.
According to the document, the expansion of investment and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Germany will be promoted by the institutions, information about investment projects, trainings, business missions, exhibitions, etc. existing in both countries will be shared, business visits will be organized, and projects of mutual interest will be jointly developed.
It should be noted that currently ASK’s representative office is active in 22 countries.
The German Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) was founded in 1975 as the largest organization of small and medium-sized business entities of this country, and currently includes more than 900 thousand business entities. In addition to representing the interests of small and medium-sized businesses in Germany, the organization has a great reputation as a social partner of the government and sectoral trade unions.
